Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — The Marshals’ Mardi Gras krewe is gathering community members for an evening of purpose and celebration this spring. Partnering with Perdido Beach Resort, the group will host the Trades of Tomorrow fundraising dinner to support scholarships for local students. The event will feature fine dining, music, and a silent auction, all with one goal—helping young people build their futures through trade education. 

The dinner is scheduled for three weeks from today, on March 27, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Perdido Beach Resort. Proceeds will fund trade scholarships for seniors at Gulf Shores and Orange Beach high schools, helping them pursue post-graduation training in skilled trades. Tickets are priced at $150 per person or $1,650 for a table of ten and are available at perdidobeachresort.com. 

Organizers describe the fundraiser as a celebration of community and opportunity. The Marshals’ newly established scholarship program aims to support students passionate about careers in technical fields, including construction, mechanics, and other skilled trades.

“This event celebrates the importance of trade education while giving attendees the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of local students,” organizers said. The Marshals hope the evening will showcase how supporting today’s students helps strengthen the workforce of tomorrow.
