Friends of the Gulf Shores Library Plan Community Book Sale
Donations Of Gently Used Books Now Being Accepted

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — The Friends of the Thomas B. Norton Public Library in Gulf Shores are preparing for a community book sale designed to support library programs and services. The event is for readers of all ages and interests. Organizers say every purchase directly benefits the library. Community participation plays a key role in sales success.
The book sale is scheduled for Friday, February 6, during regular library hours. Shoppers will be able to browse a wide selection of used books throughout the day. The sale will run from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Thomas B. Norton Public Library located at 221 W 19th Ave, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
All proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Friends of the Library group. The funds help support initiatives and programs that benefit library visitors year-round. Organizers say the sale is one of their most important fundraisers. Community support helps expand resources and activities.
In preparation for the event, the Friends of the Library are actively accepting book donations. Donations are welcome in every genre and in any quantity. Books must be in good or new condition. These donations will be sorted and prepared for the sale.
The deadline to drop off donated books is Saturday, January 31st. This allows volunteers enough time to organize the materials. Donations can be made during regular library hours. Organizers encourage early drop-offs when possible.
