Foley Snowbird Coffee Returns With Mardi Gras Theme
Event Includes Downtown Scavenger Hunt and About $1,000 in Prizes

Foley, Ala. — (OBA) — Foley is preparing to welcome winter visitors with its annual Snowbird Coffee event. Organizers say the gathering is intended to welcome seasonal guests to the Alabama Gulf Coast. The event includes activities, prizes, and information about local businesses. City officials said the program has become an annual tradition.
The 2026 Foley Snowbird Coffee is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13th. It will be held at the Foley Civic Center from 9 a.m. to noon. Organizers said this year’s celebration will have a Mardi Gras theme. The Snowbird Coffee is held each year on the second Tuesday in January.

The event will include a scavenger hunt through downtown Foley. Organizers said the hunt offers participants a chance to win prizes valued at about $1,000. Participants can discover “hidden gems about Foley,” explore local shops, and take part in the activity.
Organizers also plan to hand out welcome bags. The bags will include coupons, information, and other items, according to the announcement. The event is put on each year by the City of Foley, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street Foley.
