Upon arrival, officers found an individual with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for his injury.

During the initial response an officer was diverted to a male subject with a gun that was on foot a few blocks from the shooting scene and the subject ran from the officer.
