Erie Meyer Civic Center To Host Magnolia Charity Gala

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — One of Baldwin County’s most anticipated charity events is making a return this spring on the Gulf Coast. The South Baldwin Newcomers Club is organizing its annual Toast to the Coast fundraiser, known as The Magnolia Charity Gala. The event will gather residents, supporters, and community leaders. Organizers say it will be an evening dedicated to celebration, generosity, and local pride.

The Magnolia Charity Gala is scheduled for April 17, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center in Gulf Shores. Club leaders expect a large turnout from across South Baldwin County. Tickets and additional details are expected to be announced soon.

The gala is planned as an elegant evening that showcases Southern hospitality and community spirit. Guests will enjoy light bites, drinks, music, and dancing throughout the night. Raffle and auction items will add excitement and help raise funds for local causes. Semi-formal, Southern-inspired attire is encouraged to allow guests to capture special photo moments.

At the center of the event is a clear mission to support local students. Proceeds from the gala will go toward scholarship funds for Baldwin County students who demonstrate strong character, leadership, and service. Organizers say the aim is to help young people continue their education and invest in the area’s future. The club has a long history of using its major events to support youth and community programs.

This year’s gala holds extra significance as the South Baldwin Newcomers Club celebrates a milestone. The 2025–2026 club year marks the 30th anniversary of the organization, founded in 1995. The group was established to help both new and longtime residents connect and fully enjoy the Gulf Coast lifestyle. Over time, the club has gained recognition for its volunteer work, charitable contributions, and social events.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the South Baldwin Newcomers Club has supported various local charities and awarded numerous scholarships. Leaders acknowledge the generosity of members, sponsors, and community partners for making this work possible. Supporters of the Magnolia Charity Gala will be recognized during the club’s 30th anniversary celebration and its three decades of service.

Organizers announced, "The community is invited to an unforgettable evening where we will toast to the coast, friendship, and the future we're creating together." They urged residents to save the date and attend with family and friends. The club aims for the event to highlight both the spirit of the Gulf Coast and the significance of local generosity.

The South Baldwin Newcomers Club is also reaching out to individuals and organizations interested in doing more. SBNC welcomes potential partners who want to donate items, contribute funds, or become sponsors for the gala. These supporters will play a key role in helping provide scholarships and maintaining the club’s charitable work.
