Yard and Craft Sale Planned in Orange Beach This October
Donations and vendor spaces are being accepted ahead of the October event

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — The Orange Beach Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is gearing up for a major community fundraiser this fall. The group will host its “Big” Community Yard and Craft Sale to support its Christmas for Orange Beach Boys and Girls program. This effort aims to make sure no child in Orange Beach goes without gifts during the holiday season. Organizers are encouraging both shoppers and sellers to participate in the popular community tradition.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 18, at the Orange Beach Community Center, located at 27235 Canal Road. Doors will open at 7 a.m. and close at noon. Vendor booths will be set up inside the community center, ensuring a comfortable shopping experience regardless of the weather.
Event coordinator Linda Tucker said the sale will feature more than 25 individual yard sale vendors, offering a wide variety of items. Spaces are available to rent for $30 each, giving individuals the opportunity to sell their own items inside the center. Tucker explained that the Auxiliary modeled the event after past community fundraisers that were well-loved by the public. She said the group is excited to see its return.
In addition to shopping, guests will have the chance to enjoy breakfast and coffee while browsing for bargains. Items for the sale can also be donated. Organizers are asking residents to bring donations to the Orange Beach Community Center on Friday, October 17, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Donations of most household goods and children’s clothing are welcome, though adult clothing and shoes are not being accepted.
To reserve a booth or receive more details, residents can contact Linda Tucker at 251-747-5767 or email her at
