Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) —  The Rotary Club of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach is preparing for its 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The event unites golfers of all skill levels for a day of friendly competition and community giving. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Lunches for Learning, which provides nutritious meals to students in Honduras. The club invites foursomes, individual players, and local businesses to participate.

The tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2026, at Glen Lakes Golf Club in Foley. Play begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Registration fees are $400 per team and $100 per individual player. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses interested in supporting the cause.

The tournament will use a four-person scramble format, which organizers say makes the event welcoming to players of all skill levels. Participants can expect prizes, on-course contests, and games throughout the day. Food and fellowship will also be part of the experience, according to the Rotary Club of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

Lunches for Learning focuses on nourishing children and fueling their futures by providing consistent access to meals.
