Recreation Campus And Bear Point Projects Lead Orange Beach Work Session

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Orange Beach leaders are preparing to review progress on the city’s recreation campus as part of efforts to optimize public facilities. Municipal officials will also examine localized infrastructure projects to improve stormwater stewardship in the Bear Point neighborhood. Council members plan to evaluate operational plans for city-owned property and review the history of key commercial centers. These discussions will help guide upcoming municipal investments and potential adjustments to municipal regulations.
The work session is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, Sep 15, 2026, at 11 AM in the City Hall South Conference Room.
City staff will present status updates on major community facilities and proposed municipal lighting for the upcoming holiday season. Council members will also consider public feedback on neighborhood roadways and deliberate on potential revisions to local sound standards.
During the work session, the council will also discuss:
