Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Art lovers in Orange Beach will have a unique opportunity to create their own masterpieces next month. The Coastal Arts Center is hosting a special event designed to bring the community together through creative activities. Visitors can try their hand at glass blowing, pottery making, and other artistic crafts. The event promises something for everyone, from young children to experienced artists.

Locals Art Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 15. The five-hour celebration will feature hands-on classes, live demonstrations, and free activities throughout the day.

Anyone interested in making blown glass art or pottery can sign up for morning or afternoon class sessions. The campus features The Hot Shop, which is a hot glass blowing studio where visitors can make their own glass pieces. The Clay Studio allows people to throw pottery on the wheel or hand-build their own creations. Both facilities will be open during Locals Art Day for scheduled classes.

The center also has a 10,000-square-foot fine art gallery that displays works by Gulf Coast artists. This spacious two-story building showcases paintings, sculptures, pottery, and other artwork from talented regional creators. The gallery is open for browsing during regular hours.
