National Shrimp Festival Announces 2025 Poster Contest
Deadline for poster contest submissions is March 21, 2025

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Annual National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is inviting artists to design the official poster for its 52nd event, scheduled for October 9-12, 2025.
The winning artwork will be featured in the festival's marketing materials and merchandise. The selected artist will receive a $1,000 cash prize and must attend an autograph session on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Artists can submit their designs by mail or in person until noon on Friday, March 21, 2025. Detailed rules and submission requirements.

The National Shrimp Festival is a long-standing tradition in Gulf Shores, attracting nearly 250,000 visitors annually. The event features food, music, art, and various activities, making it a significant cultural celebration in the region.
In previous years, the poster contest has highlighted talented artists. For instance, the 2024 festival featured artwork by Red Owen, a 72-year-old artist and U.S. Army veteran from Ragley, Louisiana.
