Gulf Coast Community Invited to Enjoy "Mary Poppins JR." Performances

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Orange Beach Middle/High School Theatre program will take the stage with its spring production of Mary Poppins JR., a musical full of magic, music, and fun for all ages.


Performances will be held at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center from May 1 to May 4. The schedule includes an understudy show on Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m.; main performances on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, both at 7 p.m.; and a Sunday matinée on May 4 at 1 p.m.


Tickets cost $15 for general admission and $5 for students, plus a GoFan service fee. Tickets can be purchased online through GoFan.


The Orange Beach Performing Arts Center is located at 23908 Canal Road in Orange Beach, Alabama.


Mary Poppins JR. is a one-hour version of the popular Broadway musical, specially designed for younger casts. The full-length stage musical debuted in London’s West End in 2004 and is based on P.L. Travers’ classic books and the 1964 Disney film. The "JR." version was released in 2017 for school and youth group productions.
