Summer Sports Fun for Kids in Orange Beach

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – This summer, the Orange Beach Sportsplex is set to host an array of youth sports camps, offering young athletes from ages 6 to 12 the opportunity to hone their skills in various sports. The camps are designed to cater to different interests and skill levels, providing a fun, engaging, and educational environment for all participants.


This comprehensive program of sports camps promises to be a highlight of the summer for many young athletes in the Orange Beach area, fostering their skills and their love for sports.


The series of camps will kick off in June with options ranging from softball and soccer to football and volleyball. Each camp is scheduled on specific dates and times throughout June and July, ensuring that parents can plan accordingly and find a camp that fits their child's interest and their own schedules.


Upcoming summer camps at Orange Beach Middle/High School Gym and Sportsplex:


  • June 4-5: Softball Camp: Scheduled for June 4-5, from 9 AM to 12 PM, this camp is aimed at children aged 6-12 and costs $30.
  • June 10: Girls Soccer Camp: Taking place on June 10 from 9 AM to 12 PM, this camp also caters to ages 6-12 and is priced at $30.
  • June 11-13: Co-Ed Soccer Camp: From June 11-13, with sessions running from 9 to 11:30 AM, this camp costs $75 and is open to children aged 6-12.
  • June 18-19: Football Camp: Set for June 18-19, from 9:30 to 11 AM, the football camp costs $75 and is designed for children aged 6-12.
  • June 18-19: Volleyball Camp: Happening on June 18-19 from 9 to 11 AM, this camp is available for ages 6-12 at a cost of $50.
  • June 20: Cross-Country Camp: On June 20 from 8:30 to 11 AM, the cross-country camp is one of the most affordable options at $25 for ages 6-12.
  • June 24-27: "Chasing the Perfect Shot" Girl's Basketball Camp: This special camp runs from June 24-27, from 9 AM to 12 PM, tailored for girls in 1st through 6th grade and costs $100.
  • June 24-27: Boys Basketball Camp: Also scheduled from June 24-27, but in the afternoon from 1 to 4 PM, this camp is aimed at boys in 1st through 6th grade and costs $100.
  • July 8-9: Cheer Camp: On July 8-9, from 9 AM to 12 PM, the cheer camp is open for kids in kindergarten through 6th grade and includes a shirt with the $75 fee.
  • July 9-10: Baseball Camp: Finally, the baseball camp takes place on July 9-10 from 9 AM to 12 PM, suitable for children in kindergarten through 6th grade at a cost of $75.


Each camp is held at the Orange Beach Sportsplex, and the OBMS Gym. Parents are encouraged to register their children early, as spots are likely to fill up quickly.
