Gulf Shores Junior Council Sets Spring Market in Waterway Village

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – The Gulf Shores Junior City Council is planning a Spring Market event in the city’s parking lot in the Waterway Village parking lot at 101 E. 24th Avenue on April 26.

Organizers will ask the city for an assembly permit for the gathering at the regular council session on March 24 at 4 p.m. in council chambers at city hall.

The goal is to attract up to 15 vendors and three food trucks for the Saturday event planned from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

“The Gulf Shores Junior City Council Spring Market will bring together local farmers, artisans, and businesses to sell fresh produce, handmade crafts, and unique goods,” a memo to the council states. “The event will feature a Kids’ Corner, volunteer opportunities for students and food trucks, creating a fun and engaging community experience while supporting local entrepreneurship.”

Vendor registration is open until April 4 and a vendor list must be submitted to the revenue department one week before the event.
