Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — Gulf Shores High School is inviting local businesses to take part in an upcoming College & Career Fair aimed at helping students explore their future opportunities. The event is open to students in grades nine through twelve who are interested in learning more about potential career paths, internships, and educational programs. School officials hope the fair will help students connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. Business owners and community leaders are encouraged to participate and engage directly with the next generation of workers and professionals.
The College & Career Fair will be held on Monday, February 23, at Gulf Shores High School. Students will have the chance to meet with representatives from local and regional businesses, trade organizations, and colleges. The fair is designed to support every student’s ambitions, whether they plan to attend college, enter the workforce, or seek part-time opportunities during school.
According to school organizers, the event will help students explore their interests early and build confidence in making career choices. Opportunities discussed at the fair may include summer jobs, school-year employment (with approval), or full-time positions after graduation. The school is emphasizing hands-on engagement, encouraging students to ask questions and learn what skills employers value most.
“We want to give our students the chance to see what’s out there and to prepare them for their next steps,” a school spokesperson said. “This event is about giving them direction and helping them make informed choices for their future.”
Businesses interested in participating are asked to register through the school’s administrative office before the event date. Space may be limited, so early registration is recommended. Gulf Shores High School officials expressed excitement about bringing the community and students together for a day focused on growth, opportunity, and future success.
