Perdido Key, Fla. — (OBA) — A Gulf Coast tradition returns for its ninth year, bringing together dozens of musicians to support one of their own. The Gulf Coast Musicians Medical Fund Fundraiser benefits local artists facing unexpected medical expenses. The nonprofit, known as GCMMFund, operates under the motto "So The Music Can Play On." More than 30 artists and 17 acts are scheduled to perform on two stages.

The event will take place Saturday, October 17, 2026, from noon to 10 p.m. at The Original Point Restaurant, 14340 Innerarity Point Road, Pensacola, Florida, in the Perdido Key area. Radio A1A will broadcast live from the event, with Harry Tea at the microphone. Don Culver, known as "The Happy Enchilada," will serve as master of ceremonies.

GCMMFund is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2018. It provides financial assistance to Gulf Coast musicians and songwriters in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Services are provided at no cost to recipients and are funded by community support through donations and sponsorships.

One of the organization’s founders, Webb Dalton, said. "It's heartwarming to see the love and support for our musicians and songwriters from everyone who enjoys the talents shared by our music family. It's a day I look forward to each year, and I'm grateful to so many who have believed in GCMMFund and recognize the need to help others with the cost of Minor Med/Urgent Care office visits and prescriptions to prevent a minor health issue from becoming a major one due to a lack of funds for medical care."
