Orange Beach Farmers Market

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  The Orange Beach Parks & Recreation Department is hosting its Pop-Up Farmers Market — Fall Edition at Waterfront Park. The market features a curated mix of farmers, growers, and value-added vendors in a single waterfront setting. Shoppers can browse and buy locally grown produce and other goods in a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. The event is free and open to the public.

The market is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Waterfront Park in Orange Beach. Residents are encouraged to arrive by golf cart. Parking is also available throughout Waterfront Park, at the Orange Beach Library, and at the Orange Beach Senior Center.

If the weather becomes a problem, the event will move to the Orange Beach Community Center at 27235 Canal Road in Orange Beach. Organizers want attendees to plan ahead, knowing the market will go on regardless of the forecast.

Starting an hour before the market opens, the Parks & Recreation Department will host a free Community Yoga with a View event at Waterfront Park. Karen of Wolf Bay will lead the class, which begins at 9:00 a.m., just as the sun rises over the bay. All skill levels are welcome, and no registration is required.

The yoga session helps participants stretch, breathe, and unwind while enjoying the waterfront coastal scenery. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and comfortable clothing. A limited number of mats will be available for those who do not have one.

When the class ends at 10:00 a.m., participants can walk directly into the farmers market to browse the vendor booths. Organizers say the timing is intentional, creating a seamless transition from yoga to the shopping event. Local vendors (listed below) offer fresh produce, homemade goods, and seasonal treats.
