Foley Planning Commission to Vote on Downtown Replat Proposals
Two wooded lots near downtown face replatting approval

Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – The Foley Planning Commission will consider approving replatting of two parcels of land at the request of the city during its Dec. 11 regular session at 5:30 p.m. at city hall in council chambers.
According to county tax records, both of the wooded lots are near downtown and listed as owned by Garrett Investments. The lots abut each other between West Lawson Avenue on the north and Ninth Avenue on the south.
The first is an approval of the replat of a lot in the Togogo Subdivision on 11 acres and one lot north of Ninth Avenue and West of South McKenzie Street. Staff will recommend approval.
Okaying the replat of a lot in the Broadway-Lawson Avenue on 11 acres south of West Lawson Avenue and west of South McKenzie Street. Staff will recommend approval.
During the meeting, the commission will also consider:
- A request to re-subdivide two lots in the Roberts Cove phase three. The parcel is .38 acres and is located south of County Road 12 and east of the Foley Beach Express. Staff will recommend approval.
- Allowing the re-subdivision of a lot in the Angie Baldwin Subdivision second addition. The parcel is .86 acres in two lots at 13223 Lymon Lane. Staff will recommend denying the request because of sanitary sewer concerns raised by the Engineering Department.
