Travel Delays Possible as Ice Melts

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – Gulf Shores roads and bridges are open; however, icy patches remain, particularly in shaded areas. Temperatures are expected to climb above freezing by mid-morning, aiding in the melting process.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to postpone non-essential travel until later in the day, and to limit travel as much as possible until conditions improve.
If you absolutely must travel:
- Drive slowly
- Maintain extra distance between vehicles
- Watch for ice
