Additional Golf Cart Re-Inspection Dates Set in Orange Beach

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Orange Beach Police Department has announced additional golf cart re-inspection dates for spring 2025 at Orange Beach City Hall. These sessions offer the final opportunity for golf cart owners to renew permits that expired at the end of 2024. Once renewed, permits remain valid for four years.

To pass inspection, golf carts must meet specific equipment requirements, including headlights (mounted no higher than 36 inches), rearview mirrors, brake lights, operable brakes, turn signals (front and rear), and a windshield. Owners must present a valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance. A $100 fee, covering the four-year permit period, will be collected on-site. Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit card.

Inspection Dates:
All inspections listed below will take place in the front parking lot at: Orange Beach City Hall, 4099 Orange Beach Blvd., Orange Beach, AL 36561. Inspection Hours are between 9am and 3pm each day.
