2026 National Shrimp Festival

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — For more than 50 years, the annual Shrimp Festival has brought beachgoers, families, and residents together to celebrate the coast’s heritage. The unexpected cancellation of the 2026 festival, a rare occurrence in its long history, has created an unusual opportunity for supporters and collectors alike.

In response, the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber has decided to release the official, original 2026 logo items to the public through a rare online sale.

A Half-Century Tradition and a One-of-a-Kind Logo

Each year, the centerpiece of the festival's identity begins with the highly anticipated annual poster design contest. Local and regional artists submit original artwork, with the winning entry selected to serve as the festival's official logo. The final artwork is traditionally commemorated across official apparel, headwear, and framed posters. Over the decades, these annual items have become sought-after memorabilia across the region.

Because the 2026 festival itself will not take place, this year’s original logo items hold an even more distinct place in festival lore. Carrying an official design that represents a canceled year, these pieces are destined to become true collectors' items and undeniable conversation starters for years to come.
