Orange Beach, Ala. - (OBA) - The Southern Grace Summer Dinner series, a signature event hosted by Fisher's at Orange Beach Marina, is set to begin on June 8th. This event is a culinary celebration of fine food and delicious wine, and it's renowned for the impressive lineup of guest chefs and sommeliers.
The series brings together some of the country's top culinary talent, who each prepare their own special menu, beginning with passed appetizers and specialty cocktails. This is followed by a five-course meal, each course paired with a specially selected wine. The atmosphere of the event emphasizes communal seating to encourage conversation, laughter, and fun, though special seating requests will be accommodated.

This year, the series will kick off with James Beard Award semifinalist Erik Neil of Easy Bistro & Bar in downtown Chattanooga. Neil was raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, and attended culinary school at Johnson & Wales in Vail, Colorado. He has earned recognition for his seafood-focused cuisine, drawing on his Louisiana roots and love for quality catch.
Following Neil, the June 22nd event will feature chefs Ryan Prewitt and Stephen Stryjewski. Prewitt is the Executive Chef and Partner of Peche Seafood and Grill, a restaurant inspired by South American, Spanish, and Gulf Coastal cooking methods and flavors. Prewitt was awarded the James Beard Award for “Best Chef of the South” in 2014. Stephen Stryjewski, co-owner of several acclaimed New Orleans restaurants including Cochon and Peche, was named James Beard Foundation “Best Chef of the South” in 2011. He is known for bringing new and exciting cuisines to New Orleans, and for his commitment to traditional methods and authentic Cajun flavors.
The series will continue with a roster of esteemed chefs including Martie Duncan, Jim Smith, Josh Quick, Chris Lilly, Sue Zemanick, Meg Brickford, Maggie Scales, Ann Castro, Sophina Uong, Vishwesh Bhatt, John Currence, Adam Evans, Justin Devillier, and Rob McDaniel on dates throughout July and August.
