Restaurants offering Meat & 3 Lunch Specials on the Gulf Coast

Meat & 3 Lunch Specials

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Restaurants along the Alabama Gulf Coast are bringing out their winter menus for the slower months, offering the same fine fare but will special pricing. Among those are:


COSMO’S RESTAURANT AND BAR

Cosmo’s sunset menu from 4-7 p.m. will be serving up grilled shrimp, beef tournedos, andouille crusted catfish, chicken rémoulade, fried shrimp platter and the sunset catch. Prices range from $13 to $16 and two salads, duck and andouille gumbo and the soup de jour all priced $5-$6.


LUNA’S EAT AND DRINK

Luna’s will serve its sunset menu daily from 4-7 p.m. and among the choices are fresh catch, fried shrimp, shrimp and grits, spaghetti and meatballs, or a Philly cheese steak with fries. Prices range from $12 to $16 and the fresh catch is market price. Small salads are available for $-$5 and a cup of gumbo for $5.


GT’S ON THE BAY

See the sunset and enjoy the catch of the day, shrimp and grits, chicken carbonara, pork loin or tournedos. Prices range from $12-$17 and shrimp, or a snow crab cluster can be added to any meal, the shrimp for $7 and the crab for market price. Catch of the day is also market price.


COBALT THE RESTAURANT

Cobalt is offering its weekly regional menus and has already included Jamaican Oct. 30 through Nov. 12 and German Oct. 16 through October 28. Follow the restaurant’s Facebook page to see the latest menu.


DOC’S SEAFOOD SHACK

DOC’S SEAFOOD AND STEAKS

The Doc’s menu at both the Canal Road and beach road locations will offer winter specials daily from open to close with fried shrimp, mini baked seafood platter and a mini seafood platter.


BRICK AND SPOON
The iconic brunch is offering eight $9 lunch deals including four sandwiches including fried bologna and country-fried steak, two chicken wraps and two pastas, chicken Florentine and bayou shrimp.


THE HANGOUT

Snowbirds and locals alike are invited to enjoy a special menu Sunday through Thursday and will last from January through March. Choices include five appetizers including wings and pimento dip, three sandwich choices including shrimp or snapper Po’ Boys or a chicken BLT. Entrées available include shrimp and grits, soup and salad, fried tenders or shrimp baskets and an old-fashioned burger.


SUNLINER DINER

This retro diner will offer weekday $9.99 specials on its winter/snowbird menu from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday is meatloaf, Tuesday is pork chops, a classic burger on Wednesday, Thursday is spaghetti and meatballs and Friday is fish and chips. A drink is included and each Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. there will be a sock hop.


PICNIC BEACH

Happy Hour on Monday through Friday 2-5 p.m. at Picnic Beach means five specially priced food items and drink specials including domestic beers for $3. Included are Mexican corn dip, Parmesan fries, Cajun crab dip and a pulled pork sandwich.


THE GULF

ZEKE’S RESTAURANT

These Hangout Hospitality restaurants will each have chef specials through the winter season and will include a snapper BLT, braised short ribs and coconut and curry shrimp and mussels. 


BLEUS BURGER

The gourmet burger place will start a Saturday and Sunday brunch on Nov. 25 and will serve from a brunch menu from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.


WOLF BAY LODGE

The Orange Beach location will have nightly Monday through Saturday, including drink specials as well, starting with steak and martini night on Monday with $5 select martinis. On Tuesday, have a fried soft shell crab sandwich and $5 margaritas. Kids 12 and under eat free on Wednesday and the special is fish and chips paired with $5 old-fashioned. On Thursday, enjoy swordfish and $5 select whiskeys, Friday brings out grouper Pontchartrain with $7 Elijah Craig barrel night and Saturday brings out the chef’s special of the day with $5 Bushwackers.


COAST RESTAURANT


This restaurant at the Beach Club will offer a small plates menu from Dec. 1 to March 22 including three starters, six main courses including salmon, filet mignon, New York strip and crab cakes and three desserts including bourbon bread pudding and key lime pie.

The Foley Sanitation Department collects tree limbs weekly from homes across the city. However, officials said temporary high demand may delay collections on some routes by about one day.
