Registration Opens for the 2025 Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Anglers across the Gulf Coast are getting ready for one of the region’s most exciting “Funnest Fishing Tournament on the Gulf Coast”. The Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo, known for its fun and friendly vibe, welcomes both seasoned pros and beginners to compete in a wide range of categories. Hosted at the Flora-Bama Ole River Grill in Orange Beach, this event offers a great mix of fishing, music, and community spirit.

This year’s tournament takes place from June 5–8, 2025, and is a Captain’s Choice format. Participants can fish however they choose and compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in 30 different categories. The venue sits on the Alabama-Florida line and provides a lively setting for anglers and their families.

Registration is now open, and full rules are available online at the Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo website. Organizers encourage early sign-ups to secure a spot in the competition.

From catfish to billfish, this year’s tournament allows anglers to chase a wide variety of fish.

The rodeo also supports a greater cause. A portion of proceeds will help fund vacation experiences for combat veterans and their families, making the tournament about more than just fishing.

According to Baldwin REALTORS®, the number of properties sold rose in both Traditional Residential and Resort areas in April 2025. The data shows both year-over-year and month-over-month gains in sales. At the same time, average prices dropped across the board.
