Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Orange Beach High School’s Lee Steele has been named the AHSAA Mobile Area Athlete of the Week, presented by Scout Program Management. The standout sophomore has quickly become one of Alabama’s most promising young athletes, earning recognition for his leadership and record-setting performances this season. His impact on the court has helped the Makos reach new program heights.

Orange Beach Middle & High School has rallied behind Steele and the Makos’ remarkable season. As the team continues its postseason run, Steele’s leadership and drive remain at the heart of Orange Beach’s success — building excitement for what’s still to come.

Steele’s next stop is the Sweet Sixteen game tonight in Montgomery against Jackson. The game tips off at 4:30 at the Garrett Coliseum.
