Orange Beach Cheerleaders outshine 28 teams for state victory

Birmingham, Ala. – (OBA) – The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) conducted its State Cheerleading Finals today at Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham. The competition featured teams from various classifications, including 4A, with squads vying for state titles in both Traditional and Game Day categories. To qualify for the state finals, teams were required to attend their assigned super-regional and either score a minimum percentage of the total scoresheet or secure a top placement in their division.

The Orange Beach Mako Cheerleaders emerged victorious in the 4A Traditional category, surpassing 28 other teams to claim the state title. This achievement underscores the team's dedication and skill, contributing to a remarkable year for Orange Beach High School's athletic programs.
