Gulf Shores is fully embracing St. Patrick’s Day this year with a vibrant lineup of events and activities. The locale is transformed into a green-and-gold spectacle, highlighted by pub crawls down Hwy 59 and live performances at the Tipsy Manatee, hosted at Big Beach Brewery. The Galway Irish Public House will offer an authentic culinary experience featuring traditional Irish fare, beverages, and live music. From noon to 3 PM, at the Brew, attendees can enjoy a performance by Colby Girard and Band, delivering an array of traditional Irish music while patrons sample the brewery’s Irish Red Ale. In addition to the festive atmosphere, Galway will present its standard menu items alongside several special dishes crafted to commemorate the holiday.St. Patrick's Day is characterized by a lively spirit, inviting revelers to search for proverbial rainbows and pots of gold—whether they consider themselves Irish or not, the day carries the potential for unexpected delights. Midday Melodies is now in its third week, approaching the conclusion of a vibrant series celebrating popular music and community engagement. “Just Roger” will deliver a live performance on the stage in Heritage Park from 11 AM to 2 PM. As usual, attendees can take advantage of complimentary parking, which complements the event's free access. Participants are encouraged to bring portable seating, such as lawn chairs or blankets, to ensure a comfortable experience on the ample green space of the park. This setting provides an ideal opportunity for families to enjoy a picnic, whether bringing their own meals or ordering takeout from nearby establishments, while also catering to local employees who might wish to use their lunch breaks for leisure, engaging with both the music and the picturesque surroundings. The event is entirely outdoors, with favorable spring weather enhancing the experience. Join the residents of Orange Beach, visitors, and surrounding communities for an exciting outdoor event featuring a live performance by the Jelly Fish Cowboys. This evening event will take place from 6 to 8 PM, just in time to enjoy a stunning coastal sunset. The event will include a food truck offering a variety of dinner options and cold beverages, along with an on-site playground to ensure everyone has a great time. Food will be provided by Hog Wild BBQ. You are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, and golf carts, as well as your pets, to this family-friendly gathering. Come out, relax, and soak in the atmosphere! Take a stroll down to the water’s edge, where you’ll find excellent photo opportunities, swings, a boardwalk, and much more. This event, organized by the Orange Beach Parks and Recreation Department, is designed for everyone to enjoy.
