Jason Aldean's Flora-Bama Connection; Now He Returns For Wharf Concert

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Jason Aldean has announced he will be in concert at the Wharf, but do you know about his connection with the Flora-Bama and local beaches? Aldean's "Songs About Us" tour will highlight 20 new tracks from his upcoming album, scheduled for release on April 24, 2026.

Do you know that Jason Aldean has a connection to the beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach? In 2011, after the release of his "My Kind of Party" album, he stopped by the legendary Flora-Bama. While there, he shot a video discussing the history and meaning of the Flora-Bama. He also sang "Tattoos On This Town", which was a single from the new album.

Jason Aldean famously filmed the music video for his hit song "Got What I Got" in Destin, Florida, during the summer of 2020. The video, featuring his wife, Brittany, and their children, highlights the area's white sand beaches.

Years ago, media platforms tried to pull "Try That In a Small Town” from their rotation, stating that the song promoted violence. Aldean and his fans quickly denied the implication. He added the following in an interview about the controversy:

"It's been a long week, and I've seen a lot of stuff. I've seen a lot of stuff suggesting I'm this, suggesting I'm that. Here's the thing, here's one thing I feel: I feel like everybody's entitled to their opinion," Aldean said. "You can think something all you want to, it doesn't mean it's true, right?"

"What I am is a proud American," he continued. "I'm proud to be from here. I love our country, I want to see it restored to what it once was before all this bulls--- started happening to us. I love our country, I love my family, and I will do anything to protect that. I can tell you that right now."

Now the song is revered as being a premonition of changes that were needed in the USA.
