Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – As the Gulf Shores community prepares for Spring Break and the Summer Season, the City of Gulf Shores has announced the commencement of the paid parking season at several public beaches starting this Friday, March 1st, through Saturday, November 30th. 


This initiative, aimed at managing the influx of visitors and maintaining the cleanliness and accessibility of the beaches, includes popular spots such as Gulf Place and Lagoon Pass among others. While pay stations at each location offer convenience by accepting both cash and credit cards, residents and property owners can enjoy the benefit of free parking at these sites with a valid Hurricane Re-Entry/Beach Parking Pass for the 2023-2024 period.


Below is a list of the paid and free parking locations in Gulf Shores.


𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴:

  • Gulf Place (main public beach area)
  • West Gulf Place
  • West 5th Street
  • West 6th Street
  • West 10th Street
  • West 13th Street
  • Lagoon Pass


Pay stations at each site accept cash and credit cards, though they do not issue change. Unpaid parking spaces will be subject to fines and towing. Overnight parking is prohibited at all parking locations.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘

Gulf Shores residents and property owners with a valid Hurricane Re-Entry/ Beach Parking Pass for 2023-2024 can park at all paid public parking locations without payment and have access to the East Gulf Place Resident Only Parking Area.
