Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – Foley police officers and detectives received a report of shots fired on Friday, Jan. 27, in the area of the 400 block of Orange Avenue.
The investigation revealed that Julian Antione Tolbert of Foley, 29, came to the residence and got into an argument outside with a female over custody issues regarding a child they had in common. Two adults and two young children ages 2 and 8 were inside of the residence at the time.
During the argument, the female shut the door and Tolbert fired two shots into the residence before leaving the scene in a black Dodge Truck. Officers located Julian Tolbert in the vehicle in the area of U.S. Highway 98 and County Road 65 where he was arrested without incident. A .22 caliber pistol involved in the shooting has been recovered.
Julian Antione Tolbert is being charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, a felony, two counts of domestic violence third degree or reckless endangerment, two counts of reckless endangerment, and marijuana possession second degree.
