NAS Pensacola, FLA. – (OBA) – NAS Pensacola is gearing up for its biggest event of the year—the 2024 Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show. This will be the Blue Angels’ final air show of the 2024 season and it is expected to draw between 150,000 and 180,000 spectators over two days.

The show will feature stunning aerobatic performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, promising a day filled with high-flying excitement. The gates will open at 8:00 AM, with aerial performances starting at 9:30 AM. Attendees can enjoy free general admission and parking, though paid seating options are also available.

Mark your calendars for November 1-2, 2024, and witness the incredible lineup of aerobatic performers and the Blue Angels. Tickets for the event will be available starting today,  August 1, 2024. For more information, visit the official air show
website or call 850-462-7790.

In addition to the aerial displays, this year’s show will commemorate the 55th anniversary of the lunar landing. On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong, a U.S. Navy aviator, made history as the first person to walk on the moon, highlighting the longstanding contributions of the Navy and Marine Corps to NASA.

The Navy's history with the space program includes notable figures such as Rear Adm. Alan Shepard, the first American in space, and Col. John Glenn, the first American to orbit Earth. The Navy also played a crucial role in recovering all returning U.S. spacecraft before the Space Shuttle era.

As the United States prepares for future lunar missions, including Artemis II with Naval Aviators Capt. G. Reid Wiseman and Capt. Victor J. Glover, the air show will honor the legacy and ongoing contributions of Navy and Marine Corps aviators.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the extraordinary skill and precision of the Blue Angels along with their special guests, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and other top aerial performers at NAS Pensacola.
