Tacky Jacks - Gulf Shores - Orange Beach

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  Tacky Jacks is honoring America's 250th anniversary by giving three veterans a free weekend getaway along Alabama's Gulf Coast. The restaurant and bar, with waterfront locations in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan, is calling the promotion the Veterans Red, White & Beach Getaway. Each selected veteran will receive a package valued at approximately $1,500. The giveaway is part of Tacky Jack's ongoing support for military and first-responder communities.

Community members can now nominate a veteran through the restaurant's website. Tacky Jacks will announce the three winners on November 11, 2026—Veterans Day—on its social media pages. Nominations can be submitted at tackyjacks.com/veteransfund by explaining why a community veteran deserves a beach getaway.

"Celebrating 250 years of freedom is also an opportunity to recognize the veterans who have sacrificed to protect that freedom," said Tara McMeans, Marketing Director for Tacky Jacks. "Throughout the year, we support several military and first responder initiatives, and this is one more way for us to partner with our community and give back to those who have served."

Each Veterans Red, White & Beach Getaway package includes several prizes from local and regional partners. Innisfree Hotels provides the beachfront accommodations, with stays available at four Orange Beach properties. These include Best Western Premier: The Tides, Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach, Hampton Inn & Suites Orange Beach, and Holiday Inn Express Orange Beach. Blackout dates apply.
