Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  Baldwin County property owners should watch their mailboxes. The Baldwin County Revenue Commission has mailed 2026 property tax notices to property owners across the county. The notices mark the start of the annual tax payment season for residents and businesses throughout the area. Property owners are encouraged to review their notices carefully and plan accordingly.

The tax notices were issued on Thursday, October 1, 2026. According to the Baldwin County Revenue Commission, taxes are due beginning that date and become delinquent after December 31, 2026. Property owners who do not pay by the December 31 deadline may face penalties.

Anyone who owns property in Baldwin County but did not receive a notice should contact the Revenue Commission directly. Property owners can also view their tax information online at the Baldwin County Revenue Commission's
website. The commission asks owners not to assume they owe nothing simply because a notice did not arrive.

The Revenue Commission accepts payments in several ways. Owners can submit payments online, mail them to P.O. Box 1549, Bay Minette, AL 36507, or pay in person at commission offices. The Commission accepts in-person payments at offices in Bay Minette, Fairhope, Robertsdale, and Foley.

Property owners who pay online should be aware of processing fees. Credit and debit card payments incur a 2.75% convenience fee plus a $0.30 transaction fee. These fees go directly to the payment processor, ProPay, and the county does not retain them. Property owners who pay by electronic check (eCheck) will be charged a flat fee of $1.50 per transaction.

For questions or additional information, property owners can contact the Baldwin County Revenue Commission by phone at 251-937-0245. The commission encourages all property owners to pay before the December 31 deadline to avoid delinquency.
