Makos Seniors Commit to Colleges on Signing Day
The Makos program showcases success in the classroom and on the field
Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Orange Beach High School hosted a Signing Day ceremony for its senior softball players. The event recognized five Makos who committed to continuing their careers in college. School staff organized the program to highlight each senior. The purpose was to officially sign scholarship paperwork and celebrate the athletes.
The ceremony took place on November 12, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. It was held in the School’s Pavilion. The event followed the standard format for high school signing ceremonies. Each athlete was introduced and presented for her signing.
The seniors honored were Katie King, Ava Hodo, both signed with the Arkansaw Razorbacks, Teagan Revette signed with Mississippi State, Addy Oldham signed with the Northwest Florida State Raiders , and Kenlie Williams signed with the Faulkner University Eagles. Each player participated in the signing portion of the program. The group represented the Orange Beach Makos softball program.
The school emphasized recognition of the players and their achievements. The ceremony acknowledged the transition from high school softball to college programs. It also affirmed the support of the Makos program for its seniors. The event concluded with acknowledgment of all five signees.
School representatives noted the significance of the day for the athletes and the program. The signings formally documented the seniors’ decisions to play at the next level. The Makos highlighted the accomplishment as part of the program’s ongoing success. The ceremony provided an official record of the seniors’ commitments.
