Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – The Foley Planning Commission will meet Oct. 11 in a work session and in a regular session on Oct. 18 both in council chambers at city hall at 5:30 p.m.
During the meetings, the commission will:
Hear a request from developers from Aberdeen Place for a six-month extension at the subdivision located south of County Road 20 between South Hickory Street and South Pine Street. Staff will recommend approval.
Consider a request from developers of Greenbrier Subdivision for a six-month extension located south of County Road 20 between South Hickory Street and State Route 59. Staff will recommend approval.
Hear a request for preliminary approval for Driftwood Subdivision on 53.4 acres into 139 lots located south of County Road 26 and east of County Road 65. Staff will recommend approval.
Consider a request for preliminary approval for Wolf Creek Subdivision on 4.55 acres located east of the Foley Beach Express and north of County Road 20. Then the commission will hear a request for site plan approval for Cottages on the Creek on the same lot consisting of 252 single-tenant rentals.
Hear a request for preliminary approval for phase one of Wolf Ridge Subdivision for seven lots on 5.1 acres located north of County Road 12 and west of Clarke Ridge Road. Staff will recommend approval.
Receive a request for a recommendation from the mayor and council for the East Bullard Avenue extension. After acquiring the right of way it will be extended to the east toward Wolf Creek with an alternative plan to have a fire truck turnaround at the end.
In the work session only, Director of Infrastructure and Development Wayne Dyess will make a presentation to the commission.
