Big Beach Brewing enters next chapter with new owners

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – Big Beach Brewing in Gulf Shores has new owners. After nearly nine years of family operation, the local favorite changed hands on Monday, April 14.
Jim and Julie Shamburger opened the brewery in October 2016. They ran it with their children, Ryan and Millie, turning it into a well-known community hub.
The new owners are Kevin and Domini Corcoran and their longtime friends Doug and Tammy Warren. They’re already familiar faces around the brewery.

“We love Big Beach, and we love Gulf Shores,” Kevin Corcoran said in a press release. He promised to honor the work the Shamburgers did.
Big Beach Brewing is Alabama’s southernmost brewery. It runs a 10-barrel system with six fermenters and serves 12 beers, both consistent and rotating.
The new owners said they plan to keep the small-town feel that made the brewery special. They want to continue its tradition as a community gathering place.
