Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) —  Amateur golfers across the region can compete for a substantial cash prize on the local coast. Two premier regional courses will welcome competitors of all abilities. The event offers local sports enthusiasts a chance to showcase their skills in team play. Organizers structured the setup to keep players in contention through the final holes.

The Alabama 2-Man Championship arrives December 5–6, 2026. The weekend contest will be held at both Craft Farms and Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club. Two-Man Tour and Good Game Sports are co-hosting the joint event.

Competitors will vie for an estimated purse of more than $15,000 in cash prizes and skins. At least 25 percent of the field will take home official payouts. Tournament directors noted that registration requires no verified handicap or previous Tour history.

The competition features a multi-flight design that groups teams fairly based on Saturday performance. Saturday scores determine flight placement, keeping nearly 90 percent or more of the field mathematically in contention on Sunday. Active touring golf professionals cannot enter.

Each tournament day splits 18 holes into two formats. Competitors play nine holes in a traditional two-person scramble. The remaining nine holes use a shamble format, with that rotation sequence reversing during the final round.

Weekend activities start with a Friday players' meet-and-greet for arriving duos. Daily team skins contests will run throughout both full rounds of tournament action. Organizers will wrap up the weekend with a complimentary Sunday lunch alongside the awards ceremony.

The Two-Man Tour launched in 2021 and currently draws roughly 2,000 entries nationwide each year. Its dedicated Alabama tournament series debuted in 2023. Other state stops have included Gunter’s Landing along with locations on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

During the 2026 season, 146 teams entered the Alabama series, taking home $47,340 in combined cash prizes and skins. Registration details and entry forms are accessible online through TwoManTour.com. Inquiries can go to Joe Warring by email at joe.warring@twomantour.com or by calling 281-620-5585.
