ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WALA) -- A Robertsdale teen who beat cancer is set to take the trip of a lifetime. "Make a Wish" and the Alabama Independent Auto Dealers Associations Ladies Auxiliary granting 19-year-old Keaton Krebs and his family a trip to Germany. They made the presentation at the AIADA's 50 annual convention at Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach.

Man charged with shooting a Baldwin County deputy faces sentencing | WPMI

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) — Forest Bullin, the Stockton man charged with shooting and seriously wounding Baldwin County Deputy Corporal Michael Walker, is set to be sentenced in Mobile Federal Court next week. In March, Bullin entered a blind plea to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Law enforcement react to escaped Loxley inmate | WPMI

BALDWIN COUNTY, ALA. (WPMI) - A machete-wielding escaped inmate remains on the loose on the Gulf Coast tonight. Travis Dawson escaped from the Loxley Work Release Center almost a week ago. He's the latest in a series of work release inmates to "take off" from the Loxley camp. Tonight there are calls for the state to take action to keep the inmates contained.

3D mapping of Baldwin schools, another step in securing campuses – WKRG

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — Lights, camera, scan. A 3-D laser scanner, used by law enforcement to scan crime scenes, is being used at C.F. Taylor Alternative School in Robertsdale. “It’s scanning,” says Danny Steelman with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. “It’s gathering about a million points per second as it scans.”

Inmate escapes from Loxley Work Release Center – WKRG

July 11, 2019
LOXLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — An inmate has escaped from the Loxley Work Release Center. Officials say 41-year-old Travis Dawson ran off around 9 p.m. last night. Dawson is 6’2, weighs 220 pounds, and was wearing black pants and a black shirt. Dawson was serving time for drug possession. If you see Dawson or have any information on his whereabouts, call the ADOC at 800-831-8825.
