Baldwin County man charged with sexually abusing an 8-year-old boy | fox10tv.com

FAIRHOPE, Ala. A Baldwin County man is behind bars Friday, accused of sexually abusing an 8-year-old boy. 33-year-old Rhea Wedgeworth is charged with two counts of sodomy and one count of sexual abuse of a child. A judge set his bond at $125,000 Friday.

Man charged with shooting a Baldwin County deputy faces sentencing | WPMI

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) — Forest Bullin, the Stockton man charged with shooting and seriously wounding Baldwin County Deputy Corporal Michael Walker, is set to be sentenced in Mobile Federal Court next week. In March, Bullin entered a blind plea to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

GSPD arrest 2 for breaking into cars on West Beach

July 18, 2019 - Gulf Shores, AL - (OBA®) - On July 14, 2019 at 7:04 a.m., GSPD received a report of an Unlawful Breaking & Entering to a motor vehicle in the 600 block of West Beach Blvd. As the victim was approaching her parked vehicle, two white males exited her vehicle. The men started a conversation with the victim and ultimately returned property they had stolen while inside her vehicle. During the conversation, the victim was able to identify at least one of the men. The suspects then entered a white Ford Explorer with a Georgia plate and left the area.

Man ran from Foley Police after chase, now in custody – WKRG

OLEY, Ala. (WKRG) —UPDATE: (9:30pm) — The Foley Police Department says they now have the suspect in custody. ORIGINAL STORY (8:30pm): A man is on the run from Foley Police after a short pursuit Saturday. It happened around 5:20 p.m. Officers were spotted near the Foley Elementary School, where they had been searching for the man. Police have since ended the manhunt. They have identified the suspect and have warrants out for him.

Teenagers arrested for breaking into, stealing vehicles in Foley – WKRG

FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Four teenagers have been arrested after two vehicles were stolen in Foley, along with breaking into several vehicles. The Foley Police Department says they received two reports of theft of motor vehicle and several reports involving the breaking and entering of motor vehicle in the Leisure Lakes subdivision and the surrounding area on Monday, July 8.

Alabama doctor arrested; Gulf Shores office raided in federal drug case – WKRG

OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) – An Opelika psychiatrist is facing federal drug charges as his office is searched by agents with the Drug Enforcement Agency. Thursday morning, DEA agents began conducting search warrants at the office of Dr. James H. Edwards III located off Executive Park Drive in Opelika, along with an office in Gulf Shores. The sign next to the front door reveals Dr. Edwards is a psychiatrist and child psychiatrist.

Man killed in Orange Beach crash remembered as friendly fisherman – WKRG

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WKRG) —  A man from Baldwin County is dead after crashing into an Orange Beach Police cruiser late Tuesday night.  Friends and family are mourning the loss of a beloved local fisherman.  For the many regulars that come to the Gulf State Park Pier, this is a huge loss. The Facebook group, GS Pier Rats, has tributes pouring in for the young man.

Inmate escapes from Loxley Work Release Center – WKRG

July 11, 2019
LOXLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — An inmate has escaped from the Loxley Work Release Center. Officials say 41-year-old Travis Dawson ran off around 9 p.m. last night. Dawson is 6’2, weighs 220 pounds, and was wearing black pants and a black shirt. Dawson was serving time for drug possession. If you see Dawson or have any information on his whereabouts, call the ADOC at 800-831-8825.
