Series of lawsuits filed in 2017 Gulf Shores Mardi Gras accident | WPMI

GULF SHORES, Ala. (WPMI) — A series of lawsuits have been filed in the aftermath of that 2017 Mardi Gas parade accident that injured 12 students, all members of the Gulf Shores marching band. Nearly two years later, seven of those students and their families are suing the city and others involved in the planning and execution of the parade.

Jason Segel spotted at Fairhope Parade

Fairhope, Ala. (WKRG) -- Baldwin County didn't miss out on the parading fun Saturday night.  Hundreds of people crowded downtown Fairhope for the annual Knights of Ecor Rouge parade.  It was a good turnout and the weather held out for a nice evening of cheering, throws, and colorful floats.  You may have met up with a friend or relative at the parade.

Dauphin Island People’s Parade rolls on Saturday to a lot of excitement | fox10tv.com

DAUPHIN ISLAND, Ala. -- It is Mardi Gras season, and the People's Mardi Gras Parade rolled on Dauphin Island on Saturday down Bienville Boulevard. "Actually this is my first Mardi Gras so I'm very excited all of our kids are here, we're just glad to be here," said Debra Tolliver, who is a 4th grade teacher on a field trip.

First parade of 2019 Mardi Gras season

Dauphin Island, Ala. (WKRG) -- When you come to the first Mardi Gras parade of the year, it becomes an all-day affair on Dauphin Island.  People lined the parade route for hours with lawn chairs, small grills, and coolers full of food and drinks.  Despite the fact skies were a little dreary, the weather was hardly a factor in Saturday’s festivities.  This is a special parade in a special community in south Mobile County.
